XC Team Championship results are posted Special congratulations to the small squad of St. Rose runners who represented the school at the Team Championship Meet held last Sunday 11-13-2011. Our runners held the flag high for St. Rose with exceptional performances and personal bests - a great finish to the season. The race will be at the same Loantaka Park location and course as the Assumption Meet. We are not competing as a team but Michele Smith and Shannon Schlageter will be at the meet to coach individual students who want to race. Please contact Michele at: michelesmith24@gmail.com if your child is interested in running. We will begin a warm up at 1:30 p.m. Basic meet info is below. Please note that the JV race will be the course run by the 5th-6th graders at the Assumption meet.
No practices will be held in advance of this meet.
Morris County Catholic School InvitationalCross Country Team Championships Date: Sunday, November 13 Time: 2:00 pm Course Walk Thru 2:30 pm Girls JV Race (grades 3-5) 2:50 pm Boys JV Race (grades 3-5) 3:10 pm Girls Varsity Race (grades 6-8) 3:30 pm Boys Varsity Race (grades 6-8) Location: Loantaka Park, South Street, Morristown Top 15 finishers in each race will earn medals.
Results are posted for the Assumption XC Invitational held November 5th at Loantaka Park South Street, Morris Township, NJ It was a great season finish for the St. Rose XC team with a 4th place overall team placing out of the 13 schools. The success of a XC team depends on comradery, friendships, practice, determination and teamwork with both medalists and aspiring medalists playing equal roles in the success of the team. The St. Rose of Lima Academy community is proud of all of you!

Team News Update: When a storm is in the forecast, you must review the website before you leave the house for the practice as we might need to cancel on short notice. Feel free to email or call the coaches in such cases of questionable weather if you will not have access to a computer.
Please visit the website each weekend for updated details as we firm up the program schedule. Forms and other links above have not yet been updated. Additional coaches are welcome so please contact any of the coaches: Shannon Schlageter, Michele Smith, Shereen Bernaz, John Profaci if you can assist one day per week with a practice.
IMPORTANT NOTES All team news and updates will website or contacting the coaches as needed. We will not be sending emails. Reminder: Parents of children in Pre-k to 1st grade must assist coaches by remaining at practice and also keeping an eye on their own children especially during the longer runs around the park. These youngest children are capable of wandering off- typical of any park experience - and St. Rose staff cannot be responsible! Please stay attentive and assist the coaches in this way. Thank you!
